The winter program, presented by Northern Beaches Council, has been described as one of the most ambitious cultural offerings MAG&M has staged, with each exhibition offering a distinct perspective on the natural world, human experience and the enduring mystery of the night sky. ## Tamara Dean: Leave Only Footprints The centrepiece of the season is a major survey exhibition by Tamara Dean, one of Australia's most respected photo media artists. *Leave Only Footprints* brings together photographic and moving image works that examine themes of ritual, transformation and humanity's relationship with the natural environment. Dean's practice is known for its striking visual language — figures immersed in landscape, bodies in dialogue with trees, water and earth — and this exhibition draws on works spanning more than a decade of her career.
