Dee Why RSL has lodged a $120 million State Significant Development Application with the NSW Government to significantly expand its Oceangrove Seniors Living Village on Pittwater Road, seeking approval to construct two new residential flat buildings that would rise to nine storeys — nearly three times the height currently permitted at the site.

Dee Why RSL has lodged a $120 million State Significant Development Application with the NSW Government to significantly expand its Oceangrove Seniors Living Village on Pittwater Road, seeking approval to construct two new residential flat buildings that would rise to nine storeys — nearly three times the height currently permitted at the site. The application, listed as SSD-126278238, covers a large landholding encompassing 932 Pittwater Road, 2, 6, 8, 10–12 and 16–18 Dee Why Parade, and 2 Clarence Avenue, Dee Why. It proposes the demolition of a number of existing structures on those parcels and the construction of 103 Independent Living Units (ILUs) — comprising 34 two-bedroom units and 69 three-bedroom units — along with two additional two-bedroom units for on-site staff and 10 one-bedroom affordable ILUs.
