A bus has crashed into a roadside wall on the boundary between Balgowlah and Manly Vale after colliding with a truck, causing significant structural damage and tearing a traffic light from the ground. Emergency services arrived just after 1 pm following reports of a bus veering off the road at the intersection of Condamine Street and Burnt Bridge Creek Deviation. The front of the bus was heavily damaged, with approximately a quarter of its front frame missing and all windscreen glass shattered. A large section of the bus frame, bearing the Keolis sign, was found fully embedded in the brick wall beside the road. A concrete barrier separating the roadway from the pedestrian walkway was cracked from the impact. The truck involved sustained only minor bumper damage. Paramedics treated both drivers at the scene for minor injuries. Neither required hospital transport. The bus was not in service at the time and had no passengers on board. No other road users or bystanders were injured.
