Warringah Rugby Club is promoting its Friends of Warringah Rugby Foundation membership program, asking supporters to pay $1,000 a year to help fund players, welfare programs and facilities at Rat Park.

Warringah Rugby Club is promoting its Friends of Warringah Rugby Foundation membership program, asking supporters to pay $1,000 a year to help fund players, welfare programs and facilities at Rat Park. The foundation says it exists to provide “financial muscle behind the scenes” and to help keep Warringah, known as the Rats, a “dominant force in the Shute Shield for generations to come”. In return for the annual fee, members are offered a package of match-day and event benefits, including access to a corporate box at Rat Park for home games, and full club membership with gate entry to all Rats home games during the season. Other inclusions listed are invitations to Friends of Warringah functions, including an annual dinner and a 1st XV dinner, plus acknowledgement in the club’s annual report and on its website. The foundation also says members have “a voice” in how it operates and contributes to the club. “The intangible but real benefit is the knowledge that you are making an impactful, positive contribution to the future of the Rats,” the foundation says.
