Narrabeen Lagoon Trail Reopens After Flood Damage Repairs

The Narrabeen Lagoon Trail has fully reopened after months of repair work following significant flood damage. The popular 8km loop trail, beloved by walkers, cyclists, and joggers, was closed in sections after heavy rainfall caused erosion and damaged boardwalk sections. The repairs included strengthening drainage systems, replacing damaged boardwalk planks, and improving trail surfaces to withstand future weather events. Northern Beaches Council invested over $380,000 in the restoration work.
