Dee Why Library to offer in-person help for 2026 Census

Northern Beaches residents who need help completing the 2026 Australian Census can visit a free drop-in hub at Dee Why Library on Tuesday 11 August. Australian Bureau of Statistics staff will be available between 11am and 5pm to answer questions, provide paper forms and help people fill them out. The process has changed from previous Census years. Instead of automatically receiving a paper form, households should receive a letter asking them to complete the Census online. Residents who cannot or would prefer not to use the online form can request a paper copy. Paper forms will also be available from the Dee Why Library hub during its six-hour opening period. The in-person service provides another option for people who may have difficulty completing the Census online or need guidance through the questions.
