NSW Police and NSW Ambulance responded to reports of a collision between a car and two motorcycles at the intersection area of Wakehurst Parkway and Wimbledon Avenue. When officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command and paramedics arrived, they found one of the riders on the ground in the middle of the road. Police blocked two westbound lanes to protect the injured man while crews worked at the scene. His red 2024 Ducati was later moved to the side of the road, allowing traffic to filter past in a single lane as emergency responders continued treatment. The second rider, also a man in his 50s, had been able to stay upright after the crash and pull over.
