NSW Police and firefighters from Mona Vale Station were called to Lakeview Parade just before 10.15pm on Saturday, 11 July, after reports of a vehicle rollover. Police said the crash involved a grey 2006 Mazda 3 that collided with a Queensland-registered white 2017 Hyundai Kona before overturning and then crashing into a white 2014 Mazda 3. People living nearby heard the collision and came outside, with residents calling Triple Zero. By the time emergency crews arrived, the driver and her passenger, both women in their 20s, had managed to climb out of the overturned vehicle.
